Placeholder — a draft for review, not the final policy. Draft of 24 October 2026. Items in brackets, like [ADDRESS], are still to be filled in.
Summary
Kollider is made by Infinite Interface Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Kollider app for iPhone collects, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. The short version:
- Your music, videos, camera and microphone stay on your phone. We never upload them.
- You sign in to use Kollider, with Apple or with your email address. We keep your account and the layouts you save, so they come back on a new phone.
- We collect usage analytics (what you tap and make in the app), tied to your account, to improve Kollider. You can turn this off in Account.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- You can delete your account, and everything kept with it, from inside the app.

What we collect
- Your account: your email address (with Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email, an Apple relay address instead); an account ID we create; the identifier Apple gives our app for your Apple ID; how you signed in; when the account was made. Collected when you sign in, to run your account and send email sign-in codes.
- Saved layouts: how your modules and effects are arranged and set; any text you type into a module; the names of media files a layout refers to (not the files); a small preview picture of the layout, which can show a frame of what was on the stage, including your video or camera picture. Collected when you save a layout, to keep your layouts with your account and bring them back on another phone.
- Usage analytics: events such as importing media, adding a module, generating a layout, exporting and signing in; session times; app version; device model, iOS version and screen size; approximate location (country, region, city) that our analytics provider works out from your IP address; a random identifier for this installation; your account ID once you sign in. Collected while you use Kollider, unless you turn analytics off, to understand how Kollider is used, find problems and improve it.
- Your location, only if you choose it: your coordinates at the moment a Text module shows your place or the weather, after you allow location. Used only while such a module is on screen, to show the place name and the forecast. We don't store it or add it to analytics.
- Messages you send us: whatever you write to support, when you contact us, to help you.
We don't collect your contacts, your advertising identifier, or the music, video, camera or microphone content you use in Kollider.
What stays on your phone
- Music and video you import are processed on your phone to draw the visuals. Kollider never uploads them.
- Camera and microphone (Live mode) are processed on your phone as you use them. Nothing is recorded unless you record, and nothing is uploaded.
- Photos: Kollider reads only the videos you pick, and saves the videos you export to a Kollider album in your Photos.
- The project you're working on stays on your phone. Only layouts you save go to your account.
- Exported videos stay on your phone unless you share them, and then they go only where you choose (for example Instagram Stories), under that service's own terms.
Kollider asks for camera, microphone, Photos and location access only when a feature needs it, and you can change these at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Who receives data, and why
We use a few service providers to run Kollider. Each receives only what it needs, and may use it only to provide its service to us.
- Supabase (our database and sign-in provider) receives your account details, saved layouts and their preview pictures, to keep your account and sync your layouts. In the United States.
- Mixpanel (product analytics) receives the usage analytics described above, with your account ID but never your email address, to understand how Kollider is used. In the United States.
- Apple: when you use Sign in with Apple, Apple gives us your email (or relay address) and an identifier. If a Text module shows your place, Apple turns your coordinates into a place name. On Apple's servers.
- The Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) receives your coordinates, rounded to about a kilometre, when a Text module shows the weather, to get the forecast. In Norway.
- [EMAIL SENDER] receives your email address, to send your sign-in codes. In [LOCATION].
- Apps you share to receive the video you choose to share, to post it where you asked, under their own terms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business (with this policy still applying to it).
We don't sell personal information or "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising (as California law defines those terms), and we don't use it for targeted advertising. Kollider has no ads and doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Your account and saved layouts are kept until you delete them or your account.
- A layout you delete is removed from our servers. We keep a small record that it was deleted, with none of its content, so your other phones remove it too.
- Usage analytics are kept by Mixpanel for [RETENTION PERIOD], or until you delete your account.
- Deleting your account: in Kollider, open Account and tap Delete account. This immediately removes your account, saved layouts and preview pictures from our servers, and revokes Kollider's access to your Apple ID if you signed in with Apple. We also ask Mixpanel to delete the usage analytics tied to your account, which it does within 30 days. Layouts already on your phone stay there until you delete the app.
Your choices
- Usage analytics: turn off Share usage data in Account at any time. Kollider then sends no analytics from that phone.
- Location: used only if you allow it and show your place or the weather in a Text module.
- Permissions: change camera, microphone, Photos and location access in the iOS Settings app.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@kollider.app. We'll answer within one month.
In the EU, UK and Switzerland you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive it in a portable form, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to complain to your data protection authority. We use your account and layout data because it's needed to provide the service you asked for (contract); usage analytics because improving Kollider is in our legitimate interests, and you can object at any time by turning them off; and your location only with your consent.
In California you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and to delete or correct it, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights. In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (email address, account ID), internet activity (usage analytics), approximate location (from your IP address), precise location only for an on-screen weather or place name (not stored), and content you create (layouts and their preview pictures). We have not sold or shared personal information.
Children
Kollider is not meant for children under [MINIMUM AGE, e.g. 13], and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, write to contact@kollider.app and we'll delete it.
Where your data is kept
We're based in the United States, and your account, layouts and analytics are kept on our providers' servers there. If you use Kollider from elsewhere, including the EU, UK or Switzerland, your data is transferred to the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
Security
Data travels between the app and our servers encrypted. Each account can reach only its own layouts, which our database enforces for every request, and email sign-in codes work once and expire within an hour. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for a significant change we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
